Planocolor PREMIUM TERRA
One component microcement coating for walls & floors
High strength, one-component microcement coating, without harmful ingredients for the user and the environment. It is applied on floors and walls indoors and outdoors. Suitable for bathrooms and areas which often become wet, after the application of compatible waterproofing membrane such as SC ELASTIC, SC ELASTIC EASY or SC 200 PENETRATE®. On floors, it is applied in 2 – 3 layers with NOVAMIX® FIBERGLASS NET incorporation, in a minimum thickness of 2 mm. Available in a white base which is mixed with NOVACOLOR® DESIGN TERRA pigments.
Consumption: 1,4 kg/m²/mm of thickness

- POT life: 1.5 – 2 hours / 20°C
- Application temperature: from +5°C up to +35°C
Substrate preparation:
Cement-based substrates must be compact, level, clean, and free of grease, oil, laitance, and other contaminants that could disrupt PLANOCOLOR® PREMIUM TERRA adhesion. Specifically in the case of flooring, the minimum flexural strength shouldn’t be less than 1,5 N/mm2 and the minimum compressive strength at least 25 N/mm². Additionally, the application surfaces must be dry and protected from rising humidity with max moisture content <4% by weight measured with the CM or Darr method. Existing ceramic tile, marble, mosaic, and other materials floor and/or wall coverings must be securely fastened to the substrate and free of any residue that could interfere with adhesion. Clean the surface with ALCALINE CLEANER® or ACID CLEAN®, depending on the type of surface debris, and rinse with clean water. Apply the acrylic quartz primer PLANO CONTACT® FAST before laying the material. After the primer has completely dried, the coating is applied.
Preparation of the mix:
To achieve the desired color, the dye must be added to the water and homogenized. Then, using a low-speed electric mixer, mix the contents of the PLANOCOLOR® PREMIUM TERRA bag for at least 3-5 minutes. The product has been completed and is ready for use.
Application:
Apply two or three coats according to the desired finish. Apply the first layer to horizontal surfaces with a 6×6 notched trowel, incorporating the alkali-resistant NOVAMIX® FIBERGLASS NET into the still-wet mortar. Net inclusion is also recommended for vertical surfaces to serve as a coating thickness indicator. Under normal conditions, a second coat should be applied after 6 hours to ensure that the net is completely covered. To achieve the desired pattern, an additional coating or series of coatings may be applied. A 1:1 mixture of PLANOPRIMER and water is suggested for priming between coats. It is recommended that the finished surface be carefully sanded to create an extra smooth and minimal texture.
Expansion joints:
The location of the respective expansion joints is determined by the surface’s use and the geometry of the area.
Recommendations:
- Only use on durable and properly prepared substrates with mechanical strengths proportional to the intended use
- Avoid using it in direct sunlight, as well as in strong drying winds or rain
- Do not add more water than is recommended, and do not add water when the mixture begins to set
- Do not cover or apply the product over existing substrate expansion joints
- Do not use the coating on substrates with rising damp or in total water immersion without first waterproofing the substrate
- Add no cement, gypsum, lime, or other substances that may affect the properties of the mortar
- Do not apply the coating to substrates or areas where the temperature is less than +5°C or greater than +35°C
- Do not apply directly to anhydrite screeds, metal, or flexible surfaces
- The shades may vary depending on the application conditions and the sealing product used on the final surface.
- Due to the natural origin of the aggregate, there may be slight variations in the maximum grain size of the aggregates contained
- Application should be performed by professional users
Cleaning:
Tools, buckets, tiles etc. can be cleaned with fresh and clean water if, PLANOCOLOR® PREMIUM TERRA is still fresh. After hardening occurs, cleaning can take place only by mechanical means.
